About the role:
The purpose of this role is to provide functional solutions for Salesforce, supporting solution architectures for systems and platforms. The role ensures all relevant options are explored for time, cost and compliance to the company’s standards, policies and practices whilst meeting the business’ requirements. The role will oversee the delivery of the project and shepherd it through the relevant governance.
- Participates in consultancy projects such as CRM strategy & roadmaps, process reengineering and change management.
- Contributes to and takes ownership of pre-sales when asked i.e. proposals, solution design etc
- Maintains effective relationships with sponsors and business unit general managers.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration with an integrated team focus, unlocking meaningful and broader opportunities.
- Mentors other Merkle team members from a technical and soft skills perspective
- Responsible for ‘hands-on’ delivery of technical tasks and activities of Salesforce projects, as well as solution design with tasks.
- Owns overall team management for project(s) including owning project outcomes, and proactively reporting to the customer and Merkle on project progress.
- Keeps abreast of the latest technology / products / industry trends in relation to Salesforce and CRM

About you:

- Approximately 2+ years of consulting experience
- Achievement of 6-10 relevant Salesforce technical certifications such as Administrator, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Platform App Builder or Platform Developer I, Sharing and Visibility Designer, Data Architecture and Management Designer
- Has a high-level understanding of APEX development, lightning development.
- Understanding of DevOps/CICD
- Experience and exposure to Salesforce Data Migration, Identity and Access Management, SSO and/or integration
- Able to adapt to varying delivery methodologies such as Agile, Lean, Waterfall etc.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Leads large project engagements and teams.
- Tries to solve problems by themselves through research and discussion with peers and capability leaders.
