**About the Role**:
The Digital UX and Development Team is responsible for the functionality and user experience delivered on the department’s corporate websites and intranet. The Digital UX and Development Team Lead works with the Manager, Digital Communications and Engagement and the Digital Content Team Lead to develop and maintain the department’s corporate websites and intranet as user-friendly, easy to use resources for internal and external users.

Overseeing a team of Digital UX Developers, the Digital UX and Development Team Lead contributes to the development of and drives the implementation of the department’s digital communications roadmap. This includes the quality assurance, maintenance, functionality and availability of the department’s digital communications platforms, and ensuring the professional and effective delivery of new and enhanced digital experiences. The Digital UX and Development Team Lead also manages the Digital UX and Development Team’s workload, forward planning and prioritisation to ensure the delivery of key functionality and user experiences to achieve agreed targets, timeframes and styles, that contribute to the strategic priorities of the department.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**: Minimum 8 years’ experience working within a digital communications, development or service operations role, and experience working in a large and complex government agency. Experience with DXPs or enterprise-level CMS, SEO and WCAG 2.1.

**Desirable**: Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing/communications, web development, accessibility or user experience.

***Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO7 $108,109 - 116,864 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading
