Retail Assistant

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Previous experience in retail, trade sales, or a trade background is preferred but not essential.
- A valid manual driver's license.
- Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A positive attitude with enthusiasm to produce great results.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Operate the point-of-sale system to process sales and quotes efficiently.
- Manage stock by ordering, receiving deliveries, and accurately updating the system.
- Ensure shelves are well-stocked and the store is presented neatly and attractively.
- Handle heavy items safely, ensuring the safety of customers and team members.
- Assist with stock deliveries and occasional customer deliveries when required.
- Undertake general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Prioritize and uphold a safe work environment for everyone.

**Salary**: $21.49 - $34.98 per hour

Schedule:

- Every weekend
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Point of Sale (POS) software: 1 year (preferred)
- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
