**Job title**: Event Sales & Membership Co-ordinator

**Job term**:Part Time, minimum 25 hours per week. Monday to Friday.

**Reports to**:General Manager

**Direct reports**: None

**Job scope**: The Event Sales and Membership Co-ordinator is responsible for developing and executing event sales and membership bookings. A large part of this role is focused on the organisation of the sales funnel and ensuring effective communication with the Marketing Team, Guest Service Team, Administration and Senior Management.

**Key Accountabilities**:(Key activities/Groups of tasks)

**Guest/Customer & Admin Services**
- Customer Service administration
- Answering phones
- Following up with customer enquiries
- Accountable for knowing and educating guests of products their benefits, inclusions, and conditions.
- Strong proficiency in product knowledge to solve customer needs/problems.
- Process customer orders accurately meeting company standards.
- Ensure customers complaints are handled professionally on time resulting in positive customer experience.
- Assist Senior Management to maximize sales and profit performance of the centre by executional excellence in product implementation.
- Complete other duties as required by the Manager.

**Event Sales Responsibilities**:

- Respond to sales enquiries in a timely manner (within 24hrs)
- Follow up with free trial & 7 day passes and convert to members
- Quoting for events, functions, parties, buyouts etc.
- Calling and liaising with prospective customers to promote awareness and sales.
- Maintain customer lists in relevant databases.
- Grow the number of schools, OSHC, sports clubs and corporate bookings
- Contact all sales & memberships leads and convert
- Responsible for effective creation, implementation & maintenance of systems related to reception, sales and business development.
- Responsible for communication regarding system creation & updates to relevant departments
- Convert potential sales and membership leads
- Grow the number of schools with skiing on their permanent curriculum
- Establish relationship with Ski retailers, travel agents, ski clubs etc

**Membership Management**:

- Responsible for growing the memberships
- Responsible for managing all membership sales, sign ups & cancellations
- Responsible for all membership communications
- Developing and managing membership strategies along with the management and marketing team
- Promoting memberships from the booth on weekends and during programs
- Calling leads - 7-day trials, membership enquiries, phone call enquiries, leads captured from booth, walk-ins
- Weekly meeting with Marketing team to discuss, marketing materials & upcoming promotions
- Reporting results weekly in Management meeting
- Ensuring all membership information is accurate and up to date on all materials including website
- Responsible for creating training documents, policies and procedures for memberships
- Reporting & Systems
- Work to deadlines
- Use Trello to manage workflows
- Record work activity
- Reporting on all sales & business development activities weekly and monthly using developed reporting systems
- Contribute to the development of UX’s systems and processes, particularly as they relate to sales and business development.
- Maintain WHS standards Comply with all Safety requirements connected to the operation of the Centre. General responsibilities
- Comply with Company’s Policies & Procedures and Code of Conduct.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by senior management from time to time.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: $30.00 per hour

**Education**:

- High School (Year 12) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Event planning: 1 year (required)
