**About the opportunity**

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Facilities procurement management across a national footprint with 19 sites
- Ensure maintenance tasks and projects are compliant with building codes and Work Health Safety & Environment (WHS) as well as state and federal statutory and regulatory requirements
- Drive the development and implementation of a national facilities management and compliance plan, improve procedural consistency by implementation of a facilities handbook/user guide
- Management and responsibility for financial budget, forecast and outcomes
- Contribute to annual maintenance and capital refurbishment plans
- Have the objective to achieve cost synergies from a Group wide approach on any tender process.
- Support the appointment and oversee facilities contracts and suppliers including procurement process for all services across the portfolio
- Link with the management of capital works projects, which will include new acquisitions and redevelopment.
- Oversee regular compliance audits, including closure of audit action items to ensure legislative compliance
- Key contact for all maintenance and building queries

**About you**
To ensure success in this position you will have:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a facility & maintenance role
- Proven track record in implementing an effective process and framework for large organisations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A can-do attitude and ability to work well in a team to achieve a common goal
- High attention to detail & willingness to learn
- Ability to prioritise own work, and have excellent time management skills.
- Stong IT skills and ability to learn new systems
- Sense of urgency to complete tasks and ability to work to and meet deadlines
- Capacity to proactively manage issues and their causes
- Reliable vehicle and valid drivers licence.
