Rosebel Gold Mines is seeking a **Regional Exploration Superintendent** to join our Mine Technical Services department. As the

**Regional Exploration Superintendent**, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Regional Exploration Department to grow the resource base through discoveries or extension of known resources.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Develop long-term and mid-term exploration plans and strategy, including goals, timelines, and budgets for new exploration projects, in coordination with the Mine Technical Services Manager.
- Research and identify potential exploration targets.
- Assess and recommend new resource opportunities, including within current mine properties, and propose property acquisitions as part of the exploration strategy.
- Negotiate and manage agreements and contracts in consultation with the Mine Technical Services Manager and the Legal & Corporate Affairs team.
- Supervise and support Senior Geologists, Logistics Specialists, and Exploration Supervisors, offering technical and managerial guidance.
- Coordinate with other departments, including assaying, engineering, hydrogeology, and metallurgy.
- Ensure all exploration activities, from planning and field operations to data processing and quality control, meet industry best practices.
- Oversee the implementation of approved exploration programs following company safety policies, standard procedures, and strategic objectives.
- Prepare corporate reports and presentations, ensuring timely completion of government-mandated reporting.
- Complete NI43-101 Technical Reports on exploration findings.
- Lead or initiate Pre-Feasibility Studies in collaboration with relevant departments or external consultants.
- A BSc degree in Geology or relevant Geoscience is required.
- Registered (or ability to obtain registration) within an appropriate professional organization.
- Minimum of 12 - 15 years of experience in geological Exploration, and Resource modeling, including at least 5 years of experience in mesothermal gold deposits, preferably in tropical terrances.
- Minimum of 5 years of effective project management including the supervisory of local workforce, crontractors and consultants.
- A proven track record of successful geological programs and projects.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Access, Leapfrog, and Minesight software.
- Formal training and advanced knowledge in GIS and professional software; advanced knowledge in Datamine Discover (MapInfo), Geosoft Target and familiarity with Leapfrog are highly regarded.
- Advanced knowledge in Structural Geology, Geochemistry, Geophysics and Remote Sensing.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to efficiently lead others in a mining environment.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written in English, with Dutch or Mandarin as an additional asset.
- Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 6 weeks on/ 3 weeks off.
