Medical Superintendent

**Permanent full-time position, 80 hrs p.f.

Remuneration up to $452,492 p.a.

We are looking for an exceptional Rural Generalist to lead our team as Medical Superintendant based at the Maleny Soldiers Memorial Hospital. Specialist General Practitioners with suitable experience in rural and remote hospital medicine are also encouraged to apply.

SCHHS Salary includes:
Base salary comprising of between
L13 - L27 $6,980.10 p.f. - $10,221.70 p.f.
Motor vehicle allowance
L13 - L24 $21,000 p.a.
L25 - L27 $25,500 p.a.
Attraction and Retention Allowance up to 35% of base salary (General Practitioner) and up to 40% of base salary (Rural Generalist)
Clinical Managers Allowance $25,244 p.a (pro rata for Part-time)
Professional development allowance $21,500 p.a.
Inaccessibility Incentive (pro-rata for part time) $6,900* p.a. (pro-rata for part time - paid at completion of each twelve-month period of service)

The role of the Medical Superintendent is to provide high quality clinical and non-clinical leadership and direction for Maleny Soldiers Memorial Hospital.

In addition to your clinical and professional expertise, you must have skills in managing people, leadership and sustainable financial decision accountability.
