Now, we’re looking for a strategic and experienced **Commercial Contract Management Lead (AS7)** to join our team and help shape the future of rail in Queensland.
**Your opportunity**
- We’re seeking a commercially astute leader to head a team of Contract Specialists, delivering high-quality contract management solutions across our **Supply Chain and Corporate Services** division. This is a great opportunity offering the chance to make a tangible impact on major projects and procurement strategies.
- In this role, you will:
- Lead and develop a team of Contract Specialists to drive best practice and continuous improvement.
- Provide expert commercial and contractual advice on complex matters and contract strategies.
- Develop and implement models to manage contract and commercial risks.
- Support pre-contract negotiations and advise on contract structure and terms.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful contract outcomes.
- Manage contractor performance, resolve disputes, and ensure compliance with legal and environmental standards.
- This is a full-time, **permanent** position based in Brisbane CBD. The role offers a **starting salary of $151,359 plus 12.75% superannuation**, along with hybrid work options to support a healthy work-life balance.

- Proven leadership in managing high-performing contract management teams.
- Extensive experience with complex contracts, ideally in a rail or government environment.
- Deep understanding of procurement, governance, and risk management in a statutory authority.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
