**About the opportunity**
NSW Health Pathology are seeking a Project Officer for coordinating roles in Network Management as part of the Secretariat for WHO global AMR Surveillance and Quality Assessment Collaborating Centres Network. The WHO AMR Surveillance and Quality Assessment Collaborating Centres Network mission is to assist WHO support countries, to build capacity to develop and implement AMR surveillance. Role will be working with the AMR Surveillance CC Network Secretariat responsible for the overall coordination of the work of the Network including delivering communications.
This position is in a temporary full time capacity.

The position is based in the WHO Collaborating Centre, NSWHP Randwick.

**What you'll be doing**
Responsible for coordinating role in Network Management as part of the Secretariat for WHO global AMR Surveillance and Quality Assessment Collaborating Centres Network. The position is based in the WHO Collaborating Centre, NSWHP Randwick. The WHO AMR Surveillance and Quality Assessment Collaborating Centres Network mission is to assist WHO support countries, to build capacity to develop and implement AMR surveillance.

The WHO AMR Surveillance and Quality Assessment Collaborating Centres Network Coordination Project Support Officer provides high-level project-related organisational and administrative support to the NSWHP WHO CC Director, ensuring all portfolio administrative responsibilities are undertaken in an efficient, professional and timely manner.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, work independently, prioritise and provide organised and efficient administrative support experience.
- Demonstrated experience working in a project delivery environment, managing multiple initiatives.
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills at all levels, and the ability to liaise with staff and health professionals locally and internationally cohesively observing the need for cultural awareness, confidentiality and discretion as required in a complex multi-disciplinary environment.
- Advanced written communication skills with ability to prepare a large variety of material including correspondence, project documentation, high level reports, presentation materials, policy and procedures.
- Demonstrated high level time management and organisational skills with experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment.
- Experience in event coordination including venue and resource bookings, liaison with invitees and suppliers, and ensuring compliance within directed policies.
