**Salary**: $104,949 - $120,692 per annum pro rata + 11.5% superannuation

Randwick City Council, known for its innovative and progressive approach, is dedicated to serving our vibrant community along Sydney's eastern beaches. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Community Development Officer to lead progressive and transformative initiatives at Lexo Hub.

**Purpose**:
As a Community Development Officer, your mission is to build inclusive, resilient, and connected communities through the implementation of place-based initiatives and effective partner engagement. You will plan, implement, and monitor innovative programs and partnerships that address community needs. Responsibilities include budget preparation, developing and implementing procedures and systems, and maintaining effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide expert information, referrals, and advice on complex community and individual needs.
- Coordinate joint agency responses and partnership programs.
- Plan and deliver innovative, community-focused projects and activities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Create systems and processes to collect data and monitor program effectiveness.
- Foster a vibrant and active community hub to meet residents' needs.

**About You**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences or a related discipline, or extensive relevant work experience in the community sector and community development.
- Proven ability to engage with and be guided by the community in designing and implementing local initiatives that deliver positive outcomes.
- In-depth knowledge of current issues affecting community target groups.
- Strong capability to drive community outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in driving strategic direction.
