Located on Gadigal and Bidjigal land (Randwick NSW), Black Dog Institute is the only Medical Research Institute in Australia to investigate mental health across the lifespan, our aim is to create a mentally healthier world for everyone. **Skills and Experiences**:
The Role

The purpose of this position is to provide pro-active, practical, and efficient administrative support to the Executive Support Team, the Black Dog Institutes Board of Directors and Sub Committees. This position will sit within the Office of the Director and will report to the Executive Office Manager.

Duties & Responsibilties
- Be the first point of contact for visitors or callers to the Executive Support Team and deal with all stakeholders in a professional and pleasant manner.
- Create and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including members of the board and sub-committees.
- Draft correspondence, briefing notes, memos, presentations and other documents and communications where required.
- Assist in the organisation of event registration processes, catering, set up, clean up & accommodation where required.
- Responsible for the administration management for Black Dogs Board and Sub Committees

Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum Diploma or Cert IV in Business Administration (or equivalent) and/or possess a minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a fast-paced office environment.
- Ideally, 3 years’ experience in admin assistant/team assistant capacity in providing senior level administration support.
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills, exposure to working with executive leadership team and board members.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise with a diverse group of people from varying backgrounds and seniority.
- Proven organisation skills with the ability to multitask/manage multiple projects simultaneously and achieve results on deadline.
