Bim Manager

LCI is seeking a BIM Manager (full-time) to join our Brisbane office.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Analysing, developing and overseeing modelling engineering strategies and procedures.
- Advising on modelling techniques and procedures to ensure engineering requirements are satisfied.
- Managing Revit projects templates.
- Maintaining high engineering standards to ensure quality outcomes.
- Weekly or fortnightly drafting meetings to educate the modelling team on best practices.
- Mentor drafting team.
- Help the team with modelling/BIM issues.
- Organising external training for the team if required.
- Reviewing and responding to BIM Execution Plans & project standards.
- Coordinate with the Engineering Leads, design team and marketing to help produce coordinated engineering documentation in new construction and product design.
- Developing project timelines and budgets.
- Attending BIM meetings with the Architect/Project Manager.
- Ensuring compliance with specifications, plans, legal requirements, and safety standards.
- Organising resourcing internally and interstate if modelling assistance required.
- Contribute to research and development initiatives when required.
- Assist with the maintenance of drafting standards where required to enhance operational efficiency.
- Networking with national BIM Team and industry events.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Experience as a BIM Specialist.
- Relevant tertiary qualification, such as Diploma in Building Design or equivalent will be beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using Revit and Computer Aided Design and drafting software.
- Artistic ability to be able to visualise working plans.
- Time-management skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of engineering practices, architectural and structural drawings and building services design principles to complete drawings.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
