Finance Officer required for exciting start-up business in Melbourne. Immediate start for minimum 4 months. 4 days work from home.

**The Company**

The organisation are an exciting start-up venture who are at the beginning of their trajectory. They are in the process of building out a team for the long term. Currently the company are offering staff 4 days work from home with 1 day in their office towards the western suburbs. It's a small but dynamic and friendly environment and a great space for someone who wants to grow and develop.

**The Role**

You will work directly under the CFO and will cover both payable and receivables as well as supporting with some payroll. This is initially a 4-month assignment starting immediately but with the expansion plans the business has, it could well extend or even become permanent.

Some typical duties will involve:

- Processing all accounts payable and handling vendor queries
- Managing accounts receivable including invoicing, billing, and administration
- Providing information to the outsourced payroll provider and helping with the setup of new starters to the business
- General accounts administration
- Supporting the CFO with ad hoc tasks as delegated

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team and continue to build experience working with a high growth business.

This is an immediate start position which will commence from mid-late September until at least the end of the year though likely will extend and could even become permanent.

As mentioned, there is also a high level of flexibility on offer here with 4 days being worked from home and only 1 in the office in the western suburbs.

**Your Profile**

You will have a background in accounting with a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar position. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:

- Living within commuting distance of Melbourne's western suburbs
- Able to start in September
- Prior exposure to accounts payable and receivable
- Warm, friendly personality
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
