Your new company

With their office located in Coburg, your new company’s primary function is to provide useful and accessible services within the educational sector.
Your new role

In your new position you will be responsible for the following: Finance Officer
- Billing processes - assist in streamlining billing process via export / import function
- Entering and / or verifying the entry supplier invoices
- Provide weekly Supplier payment summary for authorisation
- Preparing fortnightly cash flow reports
- Answering queries from business managers, staff or clients relating to the accounts
- Ensuring the correct integration of different business systems into the accounting records
- Monthly Reconciliation of the bank, intercompany loan, credit card accounts & other Balance Sheet accounts
- Reporting Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss and other reports as required
- Following up and reporting outstanding debtors and creditors

Payroll
- Review and prepare PAYG Withholding, Superannuation (monthly & Quarterly)
- Reconcile End of Year wages
- Report, lodge and send employee payment summaries (STP finalise)

BAS Services
- Review, reconcile and prepare BAS on quarterly basis and provide BAS reports for authorisation
- Yearly GST reconciliation and relevant BAS adjustments

End of Financial Year
- Review, reconcile & prepare end of year reports
- Provide accountant with information as required
- Liaise with the accountant as to any End of Year journals or adjustments
- Ensure essential and required business records are maintained and stored for the financial year.
- If applicable, roll file over to new financial year.

- Self-motivated with an excellent working attitude.
- A strong willingness to learn and develop within the organisation.
- Resilient, a good ability to manage conflict and resolve queries in a timely manner.
- High attention to detail.
- Self-motivated approach to work including the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy, work under pressure and independently.
- Strong IT skills is a bonus
- Great communication skills
- Office all rounder
