At RAC, we’re passionate about creating positive change and improving the lives of Western Australians. Our purpose-led organisation is seeking a Sustainability Officer to join our Impact Evaluation and Sustainability team and support the delivery of initiatives that embed sustainability across RAC’s operations and culture.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to kickstart their career in sustainability and make a meaningful impact.

This role is available Full Time on an initial 12month Maximum Term Contract with the potential for extension.

What you’ll be doing:
- Leading minor sustainability projects on behalf of the Group Sustainability team.- Supporting the development and communication of sustainability initiatives and campaigns across RAC.- Helping with initiatives that contribute to workplace culture change.- Assisting with sustainability education through engagement with staff and youth (e.g., RAC Ignite program).- Creating and maintaining sustainability content for RAC’s internal channels (e.g., intranet).- Supporting waste reduction, circular economy, and other environmental initiatives.
- What you’ll bring:
- A degree in sustainability or a related field.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Strong time management and organisational skills.- An appetite and aptitude for stakeholder engagement.- A collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork.
