Sydney, Australia Integration Works Full time

Be a part of a team of integration experts, responsible for assisting with the design and delivery of integration solutions including the coding and configuration, ensuring our clients expectations are met and exceeded where possible.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, Delivery and Solutions
- Retain a holistic view of the solution whilst working on the lower level
- Escalate issues as encounter in a timely manner to the appropriate Senior Integration Consultant or Team Lead
- Willing to work with the client with mínimal supervision

Code and Configuration
- Development and delivery of code and configuration to a high standard, including documentation and a suitable level of unit testing meeting and exceeding customer expectations
- Follow prescribed coding standards and ensure that code is version controlled
- Participate in code reviews, is open to working in a peer programming environment

Customer focus
- Provide professional customer service ensuring that communication is clear and appropriate at all times
- Act with professionalism at all time on both client sites and within the office
- All behaviours positively represent IW on both the customer site and in day to day work activities

Other
- Flexibility and ability to adapt with changing technology
- Team player and is aware of the impact they have on the internal team whilst maintaining awareness of the customer demands
- Continuous learning of different code requirements to ensure that the customers’ needs are met
- Has the desire to improve self-knowledge and skills, identifying and attending relevant training workshops/seminars/online learning where appropriate
- Any other reasonable request from management

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3-4 years development experience in the IT industry
- Solid experience in working with HL7 FHIR in the Healthcare industry
- Experienced in creating APIs from scratch
- Display strong orientation towards ensuring client satisfaction and service delivery
- Reliable and able to produce a high quality of work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and are able to engage across all levels in the business
- Ability to effectively manage work processes and proactively manage situations to achieve the desired outcomes
- To work under pressure and think clearly in challenging situations in a logical manner
- Demonstrated proficiency in preparing client/service documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook computer skills
- Understanding web services including SOAP and REST
- Version control subversion or Git
- Ideally has Java development experience
- Must be keen to learn and improve using our personal development framework
