**The Opportunity**

This role will see you hold the following responsibilities:

- Direct and lead the support and maintenance of APIs, ESB components, microservices and modules within the enterprise using Apigee, AWS and Node JS technology stack
- Contribute to and direct the design, implementation and changes to integration components
- Resolve escalated incidents

**About You**

You are a collaborative and dynamic leader with strong management skills to be able to positively influence your team to excel.

Your strong knowledge of Integration patterns and a high level of analytical, design and problem solving ability will see you succeed within a complex IT environment.

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrated experience working in a large HRIS transformation project of scale, leading a team to deliver the designs for 3rd part legacy systems
- Strong knowledge and experience of the following ESB frameworks:

- Microservices
- AWS API Gateway, Lambda, CloudWatch, Route53, and dashboards.
- Apigee API management platform experience
- Securing and Managing API
- Demonstrated experience with SOA and/or Microservices architecture, CI/CD platforms such as TeamCity and Octopus
- Demonstrated experience of source control software, strong SQL knowledge and NodeJS skills
- Demonstrated experience working within an agile team, using techniques such as Test-Driven Development

**Desirable Skills and Experience**
- Experience with healthcare messaging standards (HL7, FHIR)
- Experience with industry standard tools, such as Jira and Confluence
- Previous experience working with different languages is desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in computing or MuleSoft certifications
