**About the Opportunity**

Due to internal promotion we are seeking a seasoned payroll specialist to join our amazingly tenured team. Based at our South Brisbane Head Office and reporting to the our Payroll Team Leader, you will join a dedicated team of Payroll Specialists delivering exceptional Payroll services to 2,300 employees nationally.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Prepare and process salaries and wages accurately and on time following payroll governance. Ensure wages payments comply with EBA
- Calculate and process termination entitlements
- Maintain pay records, associated time keeping data, leave records and related information. Also includes the maintenance of all additional pay related records
- Complete weekly & monthly tasks, e.g. PAYG, Superannuation, month end, etc.
- Actively contribute to the improvement and development of systems and procedures to increase the efficiency of Payroll
- Train/mentor team members as required
- Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and colleagues
- Provide friendly and timely advice, information and assistance regarding payroll, related legislative requirements, Lactalis policies and practices, and employment conditions for all levels of employees

**About you**:

- You have a minimum of 2 years relevant Payroll processing experience
- Proven experience working in a high volume and fast paced Payroll Team
- A strong understanding of current payroll legislation, tax and superannuation
- Exposure to SAP and/or similar large payroll systems
- Experience with Microsoft suite; intermediate
