About the Opportunity
We're on the hunt for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our Head Office team in Hendra. Reporting to the Senior Payroll Officer, you'll play a critical role in delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services to our national workforce.
This is not your average payroll role. You'll be working across multiple Awards and Enterprise Agreements, applying your expert interpretation skills to ensure our people are paid right, every time. With weekly payroll processing, legislative compliance, reconciliations, and direct employee support, this is a broad role that will keep you challenged and engaged.

What You'll Be Doing
- End-to-end payroll processing for a diverse, award-covered workforce
- Interpreting multiple Awards and EBAs to ensure accurate entitlements
- Managing payroll records including novated leases and child support
- Handling payroll tax, superannuation, QLeave, and WorkCover requirements
- Responding to payroll-related employee queries
- Supporting management with month-end processes and reporting
- Reconciling payroll accounts (monthly and EOFY)
And a bit about You
· Experience interpreting and working with complex Awards/EBAs
· A solid foundation in end-to-end payroll processing
· Strong Excel skills and confidence across MS Office
· Ideally, experience with UKG Ready (not essential)
· A commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service
· Excellent communication and time management skills
· A proactive, helpful approach to team collaboration
