ASSESSING MANAGER - CLUB MARINE - MELBOURNE

About the role
- Providing technical expertise and managing relationships with assessors and repairers to ensure optimal repair costs and customer satisfaction.
- Implementing cost control strategies to minimise claim costs, reduce leakage, and shorten the claims cycle time.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and making decisions within CASA and policy limits.
- Monitoring performance and setting clear expectations for assessors and preferred repairers to deliver consistent service quality.
- Leading contract negotiations and driving service improvement initiatives to support favourable commercial outcomes and stakeholder alignment.

About you
- Holding a relevant trade qualification with extensive post-apprenticeship experience, or equivalent practical industry experience.
- Demonstrating strong knowledge of repair industry practices, techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Possessing excellent planning, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills to manage competing demands in a complex environment.
- Showing proven leadership abilities, including team development, coaching, and driving change through collaboration and communication.
- Must possess strong communication skills, ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively.
