**What you'll be doing - Bring your great, everyday** **About the role**

The Single Aged Care Assessment System (SAS) has been set up by the Health Department to simplify and improve access to aged care services. The SAS includes assessments for all aged care services, including Aged Care Assessments and Residential Aged Care (RAC) Funding Assessments.

As the SAS Assessment Administrator at DPV Health Limited, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Aged Care Assessors and delegates to provide care needs assessments for people that are 65 years or older (50 years or older for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people) who require assistance with everyday tasks.

There are full-time and part-time positions is based in Epping, Victoria, and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the overall success of our organisation.

**What you'll be doing**
- Liaising with our aged care facilities to coordinate RAC funding assessments.
- Maintaining and communicating the RAC Funding Assessment schedule to the RAC Funding Assessors including site-specific information.

Communicate with aged care homes about their obligations to assist RAC Funding Assessors and recording any complaints received from aged care homes.

Making appointments for SAS assessments, conducting home visit risk assessments as well as updating service information, including updating the Client Record with key service events, as required as part of clients My Aged Care record.

Assisting with Answering the SAS Phone line, following up client enquires and communicating outcomes.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**What we're looking for**

Experience working in a community setting including work with CALD, Aged and clients with a disability.

Ability to Actively identify, monitor and manage areas of key risk and lead appropriate escalation and response.

General Administrative and IT Skills.

This role is classified as Managers and Admin Grade 1; however, remuneration is compensable with experience.
