Our client based out in Mount Waverley currently have a vacancy for a full time service technician to join their team

Our client based out in Mount Waverley has been a wholesaler and distributor of quality products to the outdoor leisure industry for over 30 years.

The company's mission is to provide leading brands, products, and services to the Australian and overseas markets, enabling people to connect, live their passion, master their craft and to explore without limits.

They currently have a vacancy for a service technician to service their outdoor leisure products - BBQ's, Gas Heaters and other various products.

This role will be day shift 8.30am - 5pm.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Service and repair of products
- Assist with maintenance of spare parts
- Assists in developing, implementing and improving procedures in the Service Department
- Assists with Quality Control inspections
- Assist with Rework of Products when required
- Building and arranging of stock for the Warehouse shop
- Assists with product improvement
- Assist in the maintenance of quarantined stock
- Assists with general building maintenance
- Comply with policies, procedures and instructions in the polices and procedures manual for workplace health and safety
- Complete any and all other tasks as required

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Maintains a high quality of repairs/service
- Completes department administrative procedures accurately and in a timely manner
- Initiates, develops, implements and improves quality procedures
- Manages task prioritising efficiently and effectively
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Sound knowledge of product and spare parts
- Computer skills - Word, Excel
- Sound numerical and literacy skills
