**About our role**:
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated, energetic individual to join the Commercial Sales team in the role of Key Account Manager - Foodservice QLD. Based at our Bowen Hills office and reporting to our State Foodservice Sales Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining, strengthening, identifying and developing new & existing key foodservice accounts across QLD.
The role encompasses achieving targeted sales and contribution margin returns through effective utilisation of promotional funds, agreed distribution of products and negotiation of promotional activity. Ideally, you will be results driven, hungry for success and understand the importance of quality customer service and solutions to deliver long term business results.
**What you will do**:
- Increase profitability and deliver agreed financial targets
- Build and manage key partnerships to ensure the delivery of group objectives
- Present culinary solutions with both new & core foodservice lines
- Analyse, negotiate and manage trade spend levels
- Develop key end user account plans and activities to meet objectives and mentor / support the state Area Managers to deliver against these plans
- Management & negotiation of trading/commercial terms with key end-users to deliver a strong & sustainable return of investment
- Management of account data in Salesforce
- Network with other Key business units and managers throughout the Simplot Network (QSR, Seafood Trading & Retail) to provide an overall end user solution to a key Account
**About you**:
You will have significant experience constructing and leveraging strong customer relationships within the marketplace, ideally with experience in Foodservice. You demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively across many stakeholders, have experience in negotiation and with a focus on timely decision-making and follow up, as well as a keen desire to prospect and uncover new business opportunities. A high level of planning and organisational skills is essential to be successful in this role as is a drive for results.
