Account Manager

AusHealth is seeking a dedicated and motivated Account Manager to join our team on a full-time basis and oversee the daily running of our Brisbane office.
Specifically, the successful applicant must be able to manage business operations - including interacting with a range of external stakeholders, coach, mentor and develop team members to encourage achievement of individual KPIs and have worked in a busy office environment with competing priorities. If you are business savvy, confident, well-spoken, and highly organized this is the position for you.

**Key duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to)**:
- Be the principal AusHealth contact at the relevant level of decision-making authority for each client in Brisbane. Ensure that each client is being maintained and supported by AusHealth appropriately.
- Working with clients to enhance their systems of work and processes, including the identification, verification, and registration of chargeable patients.
- In conjunction with Operations Manager, oversee day-to-day operations of the team and the patient billing coordinators to ensure a quality and compliant contracted service is delivered to all clients
- Organise and monitor hospital visits in line with agreed standards
- Monitor, maintain individual and team performance and development.
- Ensure adherence to regulations including but not limited to, Debt Collection Guidelines, Privacy Laws, and Australian Consumer Law
- Assist AusHealth in the achievement of its overall strategic and operational objectives
- Engage with team members to communicate information, provide leadership and guidance, and strengthen team performance.
- Leadership skills and management of teams and diverse workforce
- Stakeholder management skills
- Commercial acumen with demonstrated experience to clearly understand the business impacts of decision on a financial, human resource, client and supplier level and remain aware of potential related issues that may arise.
- Excellent presentation, meeting facilitation and communication skills.
- Well-developed analytical and judgment skills for solving complex problems and evaluating alternative courses of action.
- Knowledge of financial management/accounting activities.
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service with the ability to develop, maintain positive client relationships and ensure delivery of a consistent, efficient, and high quality of service.
- Competent level of IT skills and experience - particularly Microsoft Office.
**Additionally, they may have**:
- Knowledge and experience gained working in the health care industry.
- Knowledge and experience gained working in a debt recovery environment.
- Recognised qualification in, or willingness to work towards a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management.
