**About the Opportunity**:

- Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology_ now has an opportunity for a full-time **Accounts Administration Officer** to join our Commercial Services Department in Bowen Hills, Brisbane. In this role, you will be on a rotating weekly roster working from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm and 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

This position would suit an enthusiastic self-starter who is team orientated and willing to jump into any task at hand. You will display strong organisational and analytical skills alongside a passion for continuous quality improvement.

This role encompasses a variety of tasks, including (but not limited to):

- Managing client billing and reconciliation of accounts
- Managing Medicare and Private Health Fund claims
- Daily banking
- Working alongside the billing team to troubleshoot issues that may arise
- General administration tasks

We are looking for an enthusiastic and solutions-driven individual who can work effectively as part of a team and who is willing to jump into any task at hand. To thrive in this role, you will have strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and solid alpha-numeric keyboard skills. A moderate level of Microsoft Excel knowledge is also required.

Although not essential, previous experience working in the medical sector, relevant qualifications and knowledge of the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) will be highly regarded.
