.job duties & responsibility include but are not limited to the following:
Process documents efficiently and promptly to ensure they are correct and are properly entered into operations systems.

Liaise with AQIS, Airlines, couriers, Customs Agents, clients, various transport bodies, and Australian Customs as and when required.

Booking cargo with airlines.

Inspecting all dangerous goods documentation and cargo (where applicable).

Order dry ice and other materials as required.

Order/ book other third parties as required.

To raise permits as required.

To act as part of our Quality Assurance Systems, with AQIS

Quote clients as required.

Raise invoices from quotations, and to mail to clients.

Process creditor invoices and CASS.

Carry out MSQA duties as approved.

Participate in the weekend work roster as required.

Promote and enjoy a team environment with fellow employees.

Raise any discrepancies or disputes with the Air Freight Manager.

Maintain up to date rate sheets and other information as needed.

Take appropriate corrective actions to prevent recurrence of non-conformances.

Recording internal and external complaints on QIR’s.

Take responsibility for Documenting Document Change Requests.

Responsible for inspecting all freight received or dispatched to the consignee or shipper.

Take responsibility for confining all sourcing to Approved Suppliers, for reviewing all purchase orders that may be documented, and for liaising with the Quality Manager when new suppliers are being considered.

Take responsibility for completing a Skills Inventory, and for ensuring all training received is recorded on a personal Training Inventory.

Deal with clients and staff in a friendly and professional manner.

Take responsibility for inspecting all freight received or dispatched to the consignee or shipper.

Take responsibility for confining all sourcing to Approved Suppliers, and for reviewing all purchase orders that may be documented.

Take responsibility for completing a Skills Inventory, and for ensuring all training received is recorded on a personal inventory.

Maintain Portfolio of clients as assigned.

Maintain Client Work Instructions and request changes with Client Implementation for SOP amendments.

Order follow up using Hellmann in house systems

Monthly / Quarterly Rates maintenance for key customers based on Account Manager’s instructions.
