The Opportunity

As the Aviation Operations Manager, you will:

  • Lead daily aviation operations, services, and infrastructure with a focus on safety, compliance, efficiency, and customer service.
  • Manage and mentor a team.
  • Oversee terminal operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements (CASA, MOS139, WHS, etc.).
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Air Traffic Control, regulatory agencies, and service providers.
  • Drive ESG outcomes and operational excellence in line with AMG's strategy.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar airport environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of aviation regulations and standards (e.g., MOS139, DAMP, WHS).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and a strong customer service mindset.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead teams, solve problems, and drive operational improvements.
  • Valid NSW driver's license (ADA), and ability to obtain AROC and NSW Firearms License.

Desirable:

  • Practical experience in Airport Operations
  • Formal qualification in aviation or airport management.
