**_ About the Role_**

**_ Key responsibilities include:_**
- _ Checking all supplier invoices have the correct approvals for payment_
- _ Entering invoices for payment and preparation of supplier payments_
- _ Ensuring that all invoices are paid within their payment terms_
- _ Creating sales invoices, sending out to customers and following up for payment when necessary_
- _ Receipting of payments_
- _ Reconcile creditor and debtor accounts and resolve any discrepancies_
- _ Reviewing ageing reports and following up on any long outstanding items. Reporting results to senior management._
- _ Daily and weekly bank statement reconciliations_
- _ Reviewing credit card transactions and posting accurately into the system_
- _ Perform other general accounting & reporting tasks as assigned _

**_About You_**
- To be successful in this role, you will:_
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in an accounts payable, accounts receivable or accounts officer role.
- Be proficient using Microsoft Excel
- Have the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Have strong attention to detail
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have a positive can do attitude with a willingness to learn
