We have an exciting opportunity at BTE and are seeking an experienced Business Development Officer to support the delivery of various training programs in Melbourne CBD & West.

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Identify Business Opportunities**:Conduct thorough market research to identify growth areas and opportunities for attracting international students.
- **Manage Enquiries and Conversion Rates**:Efficiently handle appointments and enquiries, implementing strategies to improve conversion rates.
- **Marketing and Lead Generation**:Establish marketing and lead generation initiatives and participate in promotional events.
- **Networking and Relationship Management**:Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, students, and staff.
- **Internal Stakeholder Collaboration**:Work closely with internal stakeholders to align business development strategies with our educational offerings.
- **Compliance with RTO Standards**:Ensure all activities comply with relevant RTO standards and regulations.
- **Recruitment Strategies**:Implement both direct and indirect recruitment strategies, including targeted advertising and digital marketing.
- **Marketing Campaigns and Events**:Coordinate and participate in marketing campaigns, events, expos, and career days.
- **Sales Presentations and Contract Negotiations**:Develop sales presentations and negotiate contracts to secure new business.
- **Understanding of CRICOS Market**: Knowledge of the CRICOS international student market is highly desirable.

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- **Experience**:Minimum of 3 years in a similar role within an RTO setting, focusing on Packages & Pathway Programs.
- **Interpersonal and Sales Skills**: Strong communication and sales skills to engage effectively with potential students and stakeholders.
- **ELICOS & Construction Programs Experience: (**Desirable)
- **Building Rapport**:Proven ability to build positive relationships to drive enrolment.
- **Independence and Teamwork**:Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- **Industry Familiarity**: Sound understanding of the education and training industry, including relevant regulations.
- **Technical Skills**:Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other business tools.
- **Proactive and Goal-Oriented**: Adaptable mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

**Eligibility**: Must be eligible to work in Australia, hold a current driver’s licence, have a comprehensively insured vehicle, and be willing to complete a Criminal History Check and a Working with Children Check.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission
