IDEXX is seeking a passionate and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our PCR department in our state-of-the-art, custom-designed facility in Eight Mile Plains — the largest veterinary diagnostics lab in the Southern Hemisphere.

As our Laboratory Supervisor, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation and excellence, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, effective, and timely quantitative and droplet digital polymerase chain reaction diagnostic testing.
**You will**:
- Champion compliance with NATA and ISO accreditation standards
- Drive a culture of exceptional customer service
- Mentor, coach, and empower your team to reach their full potential
- Manage daily operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Lead quality control and continuous improvement initiatives
- Troubleshoot and optimise lab performance to meet tight turnaround times
**What you will bring**:
- A Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent)
- Skilled in running and troubleshooting qPCR assays and potentially ddPCR
- Hands-on experience in a diagnostic PCR laboratory with veterinary disease familiarity
- Proven success in leading and motivating teams
- Strong PC and data entry skills
- Understanding of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- Familiarity with biosafety cabinet protocols and hygienic lab practices
- A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to quality and safety
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
