Laboratory Supervisor - PCR page is loaded## Laboratory Supervisor - PCRlocations: Brisbane, Queenslandtime type: Full timeposted on: Heute ausgeschriebenjob requisition id: J-049381IDEXX is seeking a passionate and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our PCR department in our state-of-the-art, custom-designed facility in Eight Mile Plains — the largest veterinary diagnostics lab in the Southern Hemisphere.This is more than just a leadership role — it’s an opportunity to shape the future of veterinary diagnostics, inspire a talented team, and make a real impact on animal health across Australia and beyond.As our Laboratory Supervisor, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation and excellence, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, effective, and timely quantitative and droplet digital polymerase chain reaction diagnostic testing.## **You will:*** Champion compliance with NATA and ISO accreditation standards* Drive a culture of exceptional customer service* Mentor, coach, and empower your team to reach their full potential* Manage daily operations and ensure smooth workflow* Lead quality control and continuous improvement initiatives* Troubleshoot and optimise lab performance to meet tight turnaround times## **What you will bring:*** A Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent)* Skilled in running and troubleshooting qPCR assays and potentially ddPCR* Hands-on experience in a diagnostic PCR laboratory with veterinary disease familiarity* Proven success in leading and motivating teams* Strong PC and data entry skills* Understanding of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)* Familiarity with biosafety cabinet protocols and hygienic lab practices* A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to quality and safety* A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences## **What We Offer*** When you join IDEXX, you will find yourself in a challenging but exciting environment where you are given the opportunity to be yourself, innovate, and grow.
