Develop and refine your leadership skills in your new role as Laboratory Operations Manager based at our Skygate Brisbane office located at Brisbane Airport, QLD. You will be joining a strong team culture with a supportive environment where personal and professional growth is valued and your contributions towards our success recognised.

Reporting to the Regional Technical Manager you will have responsibility for around 35 people over Queensland with labs in SEQ as well as in Mackay, and a focus on technical excellence as well as great customer service. With several supervisors to support you in this role there is also the expectation that you will develop leadership skills in others.

**In your new role, you will**:

- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers whilst still providing professional technical support
- Maintain NATA accreditation through managing internal and external audit processes and well as addressing any concerns
- Measure, maintain and improve both equipment and people performance
- Lead recruitment and retention processes
- Drive technical improvements to business products and processes as well as customer outcomes.

**This role is a great fit for you, if**:

- You have a successful track record with at least 5 years experience within a lab or within the technical field with high attention to detail and outstanding communication and engagement skills.
- You have a positive and influential presence in building strong and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
