The Opportunity

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process of products from planning to final delivery. Through collaboration, consistent communication and attention to detail, you’ll ensure production runs smoothly, efficiently and in line with the go-to-market calendar.

What does the role involve?
- Overseeing the production of a product with the manufacturing sourcing base for a specific region
- The production manager will work with a team of production Coordinators to ensure that everything goes smoothly and on schedule
- Ensuring that all necessary components are in place. Suppliers are resecting the agreed lead-time
- Preparing reports on production status including: cut date, dispatch date, PO completeness, on time delivery report
- Lead, manage & coach the team, while influencing and inspiring quality and success
- Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including logistic and distribution
- Response to changes - i.e. expedite, push-out, etc and Improve process to scale and ensure sustainability.
- Deliver results and make a positive impact on the brand and people.

Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor of Fashion/Textiles or equivalent tertiary design qualification
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Strong understanding of production process
- An understanding of general business practices
- Knowledge of process improvement techniques.
