**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the Program Services Manager, the Scheduling Manager is responsible overall schedule process governance across the Collins Class Submarine (CCSM) In Service Support Contract (ISSC) Program. This includes development, implementation and continuous improvement of the corporate scheduling function and Efficient Planning System (EPS). Hybrid opportunity based in Henderson WA or Osborne SA.

The Scheduling Manager is responsible to oversee the development of each Contractor’s Maintenance Availability Schedule (CMAS), Sustainment & Capital Acquisition project schedules and Survey & Quote (S&Q) project schedules in accordance with the ISSC and ASC’s Earned Value Management Plan (EVMP).

**Responsibilities**

The Scheduling Manager is accountable for:

- ASC’s Corporate Scheduling Policy.
- Schedule performance measurement & reporting for project and program reporting.
- Key stakeholder for Program Resource Planning.
- Procurement & Supply Chain scheduling techniques.
- Staff performance evaluation & career development planning.
- Business scheduling Subject Matter Expert (SME).

**About you**
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Commerce, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Advanced Primavera P6 skills & experience
- Significant experience in management of project planning & scheduling teams
- Significant project management services experience including project and program level: scope control, Earned Value Management (EVM), Project planning & scheduling, estimating and procurement planning.
- Familiarity & understanding of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Project Schedule Management.
- High level conceptual, analytical and decision making skills with the ability to interpret the social, political and operational environments.

**Desirable competencies and experiences**
- Primavera P6 EPPM Certification or equivalent experience.
- Advanced Diploma of Project Management.
- Previous experience in a Defence project or manufacturing environment.
- Relevant management or leadership qualification.
- Experience in an analytical role.
