Reports to: Managing Director Australia and New Zealand

Purpose of the job

To assist management in facilitating a cohesive and inclusive workplace where all staff are educated around corporate etiquette. The position is also responsible for ensuring compliance of documentation for Industrial relations and WHS, as well as recruitment and training.

**Responsibilities**:

- Educating staff on Working within company guidelines
- Recruiting and staffing
- Employee orientation and induction
- Performance management and assist in implementing improvement systems which includes identifying and coordinating staff training requirements as necessary
- Contract management and ensuring compliance with employment legislative framework, company policies and HR best practice
- Policy development and other HR related documentation and correspondence
- Facilitate employee safety, welfare, wellness and health

**Requirements**:

- At least 10 years of solid and progressive leadership experience in Human Resource positions
- Knowledge of employment legislations and regulations including (but not limited to) National Employment Standards, Fair Work Act, Workplace, Health and Safety
- Experience and knowledge in effective people management practices including performance management, complaint handling, training and coaching
- Effective written and verbal communication skills including ability to prepare reports, policies and procedures and communicate these to all staff
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping
- Ability to exercise discretion/confidentiality at all times and sensitive information appropriately
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resource or Organisation Development

Quality, Environment, Health And Safety Responsibilities
- Commitment to the quality, environment, health and safety and proactively reporting any risks and issues to your Manager or Supervisor
- Carrying out the roles and responsibilities as detailed in the quality, environment, health and safety policies and procedures
- Understanding the company mission, vision, policies, objectives and other requirements of the quality, environment, health and safety management system
- Your involvement is essential in identifying potential hazards that can be eliminated, or minimised, before injuries occur
- Participating in trainings, inductions, and Tool Box Talks
- Take reasonable care for your own health and safety
- Take reasonable care that your acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of other persons
