The IT Security Operations Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective cyber security management of the organization's information systems, networks, and data. They will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the organization's security policies and practices, keeping them aligned with the ever-evolving cyber security landscape. Additionally, they will manage end-to-end vulnerability and cyber threat management while collaborating with vendors and partners to enforce robust security measures for the organization's information systems, networks, and data.

**Work Experience -**

Relevant Qualifications, Work Experience & Specialized Knowledge
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or substantial experience in IT systems management.
- ITIL v3 Qualification(s).
- Significant experience in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to deliver IT Security services in a multi-sourced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus. Ability to comprehend issues, manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and translate technical information into business language.
- Proven experience in influencing business stakeholders to achieve positive service outcomes.
- Experience managing IT security in a dynamic environment, adapting to changing customer needs, including the transition to cloud computing (IAAS and SAAS).
- Proficiency in managing request and incident management processes within an ITIL framework.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills, driving innovation and enhancing service quality.

**Qualifications**:
A tertiary qualification in a numeric field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, economics, commerce, or social science). Equivalent work experience will be considered if no tertiary qualification is held.
