**About the Role**
Food is a key part of our daily life and Goodman Fielder plays an essential role in providing high quality products to our Foodservice customers and consumers. As such, we're looking for a driven and ambitious Foodservice State Distributor Account Manager to manage our Foodservice Distributor customer portfolio and work alongside our Foodservice end user team to help grow our market share in the Western Australian Food Service channel.
**Specifically, you will**
- Understand the push/pull method of sales into distributors and end users
- Create sustainable business relationships with Foodservice distributor groups and Foodservice independent distributors within Food Service and seek all opportunities for volume and value
- Execute both Joint business plans and marketing activation plans to deliver incremental ranging in distributors
- Work cross functionally with marketing, R&D and operations to develop and drive NPD to market
- Consistently review the in-year plan and financial metrics, and prioritise the requirements based on risks and opportunities to meet calendar year financial budget
- Analyse industry and competitor trends to identify new business opportunities to maintain a competitive advantage
- Identify portfolio opportunities for growth and target new foodservice distributor opportunities
- Build strong distributor relationships with key stakeholders such as owner operators, branch managers, procurement managers and distributor sales reps via planned calls, product and category presentations, new product presentations, and joint business plans
- Drive compliance in national accounts distributor groups on a state level
**About You**
- 3+ years' experience as a Territory/State Account Manager / Business Development Manager in Food Service
- Strong understanding of the Foodservice distributor landscape in Western Australia, including Bidfood, PFD, NAFDA, Superior Foods, Countrywide and Independent distributors
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Excellent communication, strong negotiation skills, high commercial acumen, internal & external stakeholder management, influencing and relationship building skills
- Strong understanding of commodities and foodservice products lines in WA market.
- Confident understanding of the current WA foodservice end user market and foodservice trends.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS office suite
