**About the Opportunity**

In this influential role, you will lead a talented team that is responsible for providing expert project management advice and support to our stakeholders, both within our organisation and beyond. Your leadership will align our efforts with our strategic goals and help us achieve successful project outcomes that truly meet the needs of our community.

You will play a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered with a focus on high quality and consistency, from planning and consultation, through to design and execution. In this role, you will cover a diverse range of projects whether new or existing, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard and meeting requirements.

You will also work with procurement and leadership to ensure that we secure the right partnerships that achieve cost-effective and innovative solutions.

Some of the projects you will see yourself immersed in are:

- City Main Streets revitalisation
- Greening infrastructure
- Buildings and streetscape upgrades

You will have a leadership style, which is naturally empowering, supportive, collaborative, encouraging and drives a positive culture, which will allow you to provide leadership, and specialist project management guidance and advice to our team.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a small team of project managers to deliver fantastic infrastructure outcomes that will enhance the city realm and benefit City of Adelaide stakeholders. The role will challenge the right person to grow the team knowledge base and motivation. **About You**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- **Leadership skills**: Experience in leading cultural change, and providing motivational leadership within a technical environment, which continually enhances and builds the team’s capability and performance.
- **Project Management skills**: Extensive project management skills with appropriate ability to guide and instruct on the core competencies.
- **Delivery & Stakeholder Management**: Extensive experience in the delivery of strategies, planning and projects.
- **Technical Knowledge**: An appropriate mix of knowledge and experience to ensure that the projects for which the team is responsible are planned, designed, implemented and maintained at the highest standard and at the optimum levels and cost.
