We are seeking to recruit for the following roles to join our Asset Management Team.

Reporting to the Manager, Enabling Assets both roles are part of a multifaceted team responsible for a range of asset, property and facility management activities for a diverse public transport asset portfolio.

The **Team Leader Facilities Maintenance** manages the daily operational aspects of selected transport asset classes, ensuring tasks are scheduled and delivered within budget through agreed service arrangements, including across government facility management arrangements (AGFMA) partnerships with Ventia and Spotless. It includes developing asset management plans that account for asset condition, functionality, and maintenance to guide future strategies and funding proposals. Additionally, the role requires fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, conducting research and analysis, and providing expert advice to support portfolio goals and ensure safe, reliable transport assets for customers.

The **Team Leader Enabling Assets Interface** liaises with internal and external stakeholders to support governance, compliance, and asset management functions while providing expert advice and correspondence to achieve portfolio objectives.

Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day operational asset activities for selected asset classes, ensuring compliance with contractual and legislative requirements, and developing asset management plans in collaboration with public transport service providers. This includes assessing asset condition and suitability to inform future multimodal strategies and funding bids. Additionally, the role fosters positive stakeholder relationships and conducts research and analysis to facilitate the delivery of safe, reliable transport assets for customer use.

**Qualifications/Experience**
Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, transportation management, asset management, facilities management or a related field will be highly regarded.

**Special Conditions**
- A National Police Check (NPC) which must be renewed every three years.
- A Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC) which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

A current driver’s licence is required.

**Remuneration**
ASO6 - $98,478 to $104,165 pa + superannuation.
