**The Opportunity**

We’re looking for someone who can lead a dedicated team in developing a modern, compliant, and sustainable procurement framework that supports better outcomes for our communities.

In this role, you’ll provide trusted advice, drive continuous improvement, and lead initiatives that strengthen sustainability, Aboriginal participation, and evidence-based policy. It’s a great opportunity to make a lasting impact while guiding a capable and motivated team.

You’re a confident and results-focused leader who brings strong procurement knowledge and a strategic mindset. You build trusted relationships, communicate clearly, and lead your team to deliver meaningful outcomes. With a focus on innovation, improvement, and collaboration, you manage challenges with professionalism and drive positive change.

**Educational Qualifications**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in policy development, law and/or extensive experience in a procurement environment are desirable.

**Special Conditions**
- A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
- Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.
