We are seeking a suitably qualified Safe City Ranger (50D) to provide a quality frontline service to the City of Perth to aid towards a safe and secure community. This includes providing proactive support and advice to businesses, residents, and the public on community safety initiatives, and assistance to Emergency Service Organisations as required.

As the Safe City Ranger, you will support the City by:

- Carrying out patrols and surveillance throughout the City of Perth and reporting issues, doing this in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
- Issuing infringement notices and/or cautions accurately, fairly, and impartially.
- Checking thoroughfares are clear of obstructions or permits exist for obstructions that are present.
- Regulating ‘No Smoking’ laws in nominated areas, and the enforcement of other Statutory Acts, Regulations, and Local Laws as required.
- Enforcing permits issued by the City, including the control of Street Entertainer permits, Obstruction permits, Hoarding and Gantry permits, and Outdoor Dining permits.
