This position contributes to a safer city by providing an after-hours focal point service for the City of Perth’s enquiries, complaints and requests for assistance to achieve a satisfactory outcome for the customer and the City, including liaising with Police and other government agencies on complex operations and support in the monitoring of crime scenes, suspicious packages and anti-social behaviour.

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this position will support the City by:

- Utilising the City’s CCTV cameras, monitoring throughfares, parks and hotspots in the City and reporting any issues to WA Police or Rangers.
- Coordinating operational responses to incidents for both the City of Perth and Police.
- Monitoring multiple occurrences taking place at the same time and using initiative and judgement to decide on interception strategies.
- Provide an after-hours focal point for City of Perth enquiries, complaints, requests for assistance and achieving a satisfactory outcome for the customer and the City.

To succeed in this role, you will be able to use your observations skills to monitor occurrences, provide excellent customer service and communications to our customers, and respond to incidents in a timely manner using your initiative and problem solving skills.
