**Your new role**:
The Internal Communications Officer is responsible for driving a broad range of communications activities targeting a predominantly internal audience. A variety of digital communications channels are used to enhance staff engagement within the University.

**What you'll need to succeed**:
We are seeking someone with previous experience in an internal communications role and a strong understanding of the importance of internal communications. This is a busy, deadline driven role that works with stakeholders across the University. It requires strong writing skills, a high level of digital competence and the ability to use a range of platforms including WordPress, Outlook, MS Teams and Photoshop. Your specific duties and responsibilities will include:

- Work collaboratively with relevant staff and areas to develop and implement detailed internal communications strategies for key University priorities;
- Research, consult and produce high-quality content for internal channels;
- Monitor and measure the success of digital internal communications using analytics;
- Manage internal digital communications channels including internal staff website, e-newsletters and University social networking platform;
- Research and write documents including speeches and award nominations to enhance the university's reputation;
- Provide advice on effective communication to relevant staff across the University; and
- Undertake other communication activities as may be reasonably expected.
