We’re Hiring: Foreman - Playground Construction & Surfacing

Gold Coast-based | Projects from Coffs Harbour to Sunshine Coast

ALAS CONSTRUCT is a leading playground installation and surfacing company, proudly building safe, fun, and creative outdoor spaces for children and communities across South-East Queensland and Northern NSW.

We’re looking for a highly experienced Foreman to lead and deliver playground installation and soft-fall surfacing projects to the highest standard. If you’ve worked with a playground construction company before and know what it takes to manage sites, teams, and timelines with confidence, we want to hear from you

What You’ll Be Doing:
Oversee day-to-day operations on multiple playground installation sites

Manage and lead site crews, subcontractors and labourers

Interpret and build from site plans and installation drawings

Ensure high-quality finishes across all surfacing types - including rubber soft fall, synthetic turf and mulch

Liaise directly with project managers, clients, and stakeholders

Enforce WHS standards and ensure a safe, efficient work environment

Maintain equipment and ensure proper materials handling on site

Ensure all work meets Australian Standards and client expectations

What You Must Have:
Experience working for a playground installation company (essential)

Proven track record as a Site Foreman or Supervisor in landscaping, playgrounds or construction

Competency in reading and interpreting construction plans

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

White Card and relevant tickets (e.g., skid steer, excavator, working at heights)

Valid driver’s licence and own transport

Strong understanding of surfacing systems: rubber soft fall, synthetic grass, mulch, etc.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
