**The opportunity**:
Leading the AV/Electrical team in daily inspections and maintenance of rides, attractions, and electrical infrastructure.
In the absence of the Electrical Supervisor you will be required to take on any extra responsibilities to keep the department running efficiently.

**Your day to day**:

- Ensuring attractions are maintained and/or repaired in a safe and timely manner.
- Co-ordinating staff and contractors to perform repairs and maintenance on equipment.
- Programming and diagnostics skills including PLC’s VSD’s and AV systems.
- Communication and coordination with other departments to prioritize work.
- General electrical maintenance work.
- Installation, testing and commissioning control electronics on complex equipment.
- Managing stock levels of spare parts and consumables.
- Managing rosters, staff leave and overtime.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Must hold a current (QLD) electrical workers license.
- Ability to work autonomously and a reasonable level of fitness to enable the climbing of ladders and stairs.
- Interpretation of technical drawings with the ability to read system & circuit diagrams.
- A high awareness of Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
- Supervisory and job programming skills
- Excellent understanding of AS / NZS 3000:2008.
- Flexible to work nights and weekends if required to meet business requirements.
