**Job description**
**Daily Tasks**:
- Work with clients to achieve their goals and work towards identifying their strength to promote their independence.
- Identify the needs of the clients and working along with them to realise their potentials
- Connect with governmental, non-governmental and other institutions to enhance the functioning of the clients.
- Developing and implementing programs with the participant to grow their living skills and abilities so they can make decisions affecting their lives, live as independently as possible and participate in the community.
- Supporting our participants with living skills and work with them by putting their interest at the centre of care
- Supporting clients with complex and/ or challenging needs.
- Transporting clients to their appointments/ outings/social events/shopping assistance.
- Companionship and social support.
- Supporting clients in decision making and networking with various groups to develop their interests and pursuing their goals.
**Our requirements**:
- Cert III, IV in Disability/ Diploma in community service/psychology
- Experience with mental health, complex and challenging behaviours, and high physical support needs will be highly regarded.
- A current Australian Drivers Licence and an insured vehicle.
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Manual Handling training and certificate.
- The ability to develop positive relationships with our clients and to support their individual care plans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Right to work in Australia.
Hours of Work:
- Hours are flexible in accordance with NDIS participants and can accommodate the applicant's requirements and

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hou
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplementary Pay:
- Penalty rates
