Operations Manager

As ING’s **Operations Manager - Offshore Operations - **Wholesale Banking**, you’ll establish, maintain and manage effective business partnerships between ING and key Strategic Business Partners (SBP). You’ll be accountable for the completion of applicable outsourcing activities on all steps of the lifecycle of the outsourcing agreement and ensuring that any regulatory requirements relating to outsourcing are met.

You’ll have experience coordinating and managing changes to supplier and third party management processes driven by policy, regulations or improvement opportunities.

**What are you going to do? You will be**
- Identifying and assessing supplier risks, working with Wholesale, Tech and Operations teams to plan and mitigate risks and manage business continuity (in coordination with the Business Continuity Manager)
- Working with procurement on negotiating, managing and monitoring contracts inclusive of service level agreements (SLAs) for key vendors
- Advising ING on outsourcing matters and interpreting the impact of outsourcing related changes against regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures and incorporate change to ensure regulatory compliance
- Monitoring compliance with regards to ING Group and local regulatory requirements
- Managing the design and continuous improvement of the outsourcing process
- Training and supporting stakeholders regarding outsourcing requirements; and supporting the Business of outsourcing relationships
- Facilitating and negotiate competing views (e.g. outsourcing classification) of stakeholders for effective outcomes

**What are we looking for? Someone who has**
- Full understanding of the vendor life cycle with excellent knowledge of outsourcing risk management practice including regulatory requirements with experience of overseeing and monitoring outsourcing providers
- Understanding of contractual agreements & commercial terms
- Demonstrated ability to perform the required tasks in past roles for 10+ years
- Strong stakeholder management skills with excellent verbal, written, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to influence and adapt to changing needs and priorities
- Able to work autonomously, proactive and as part of a team with solid judgement with ability to make informed decisions
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and automated IT systems
- Ability to understand and articulate the commercial benefits of effective Outsourcing risk management - would be considered highly advantageous
