Global Transaction Services (GTS) provides transactional banking, client experience and solution implementation for institutional customers, as well as manages the bank's payment networks, the regulatory and payments strategy agenda, and the end-to-end payments operations, including clearing and settlements.
**How will I help?**
You will join Westpac’s Global Transaction Services (GTS) team, as a Client Development Manager dedicated to managing and maintaining a portfolio of key Institutional and Corporate clients.
You will be responsible for partnering with and managing a diverse portfolio of clients tasked with driving revenue growth and maximising deposits through consistent sales activity and pipeline management. You will be confident in identifying new opportunities for our clients and will demonstrate value-add services by designing and delivering innovative solutions and presentations to improve operational and financial management efficiency.
You will also:
- Manage the sales process for new and existing opportunities.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Client’s strategy to identify opportunities for strategic alignment with the GTS technology and product investment road map. Participate in deal teams where clients choose to run a tender process at the end of their contract term.

**What do I need?**
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated relationship management, leadership and sales experience - transactional banking experience is required. You will be a pro-active individual with experience managing and understanding client needs. You will have strong business acumen and will understand the importance of managing and maintaining sustainable relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.
Further advantageous skills:
- Understanding of the sales process with experience identifying different sales solutions and products for clients within different industry segments.
- Ability to develop an understanding of key clients in portfolio and industry sector to ensure superior service is provided.
- Highly developed negotiation, influencing and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Well-developed analysis and problem-solving skills.
