The Associate Client Development Manager serves as the primary business contact for clients and is responsible for account management and client happiness. This role is encouraged to consistently provide excellent customer service to our external clients’ accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organisation to ensure quality. In addition, the role will establish and build close working relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
Role/ Responsibilities
The role incorporates the following elements:
- Developing and implementing a client retention and growth plan to identify potential areas for improvement and appropriate sales or marketing-related activities
- Liaison f2f with end clients as well as direct clients to be the face of the business and contribute ideas to brainstorming sessions internally and externally
- Developing a positive ongoing client relationship
- Presenting company credentials, training and developing the client on the agreed Lightspeed processes and procedures for the efficient running of projects
- Identify gaps in client-service processes (both business development and client operations) and recommend improvements.
- Providing knowledge of Lightspeed panel and feasibility / pricing approach to the client and their project managers/client servicing managers/directors
- Work on some of the clients briefs to ensure that Lightspeed contributes to the research design and that the proposals are accurately turnaround within a mutually agreed timescale
- Communicate optimally with the client, empathising with their needs and action the appropriate method to meet their requirements and objectives.
- Assist to maintain existing account relationships to insure they remain healthy, productive and mutually beneficial, with a goal of securing repeat business and achieving targeted revenues
**Qualifications**:
- Knowledge of the market-research industry
- Ability to develop rapport with client management and maintain strong working relationships. Optimally handles client expectations;
- strong communication and account management skills;
- Able to negotiate or mediate discussions competently, making concessions while accomplishing goals and protecting interests.
