Ongoing placement role whilst current accounts officer is on maternity leave.

In this role you will:
- Prepare and pay the eft runs (eft runs and one-off eft's)
- perform daily cash reporting and cash management
- Download and code daily bank statements daily
- Advise vendors of payments
- Pay cheques and update register
- Pay international TTs and international drafts
- Prepare legal and professional fee schedules
- Prepare audit confirmations
- Foreign currency reporting
- Organise funding re wires from MLs for payroll and operating expenses
- Pay intercompany management fees and expenses
- Query invoices (eg. ensuring correct Company on invoice)
- Contact vendors for copies of invoices when statements have been received but not the invoice
- Scan bank statements and Great Plains printouts to network drive
- Update both the excel Fixed Asset register as well as filing invoices to the Fixed asset register folder
- Enter payments into Great Plains and reconcile the bank accounts
- File invoices
- Review expense reimbursement claims by receipt and fx conversion calculations
- Petty cash reconciliation
- Set up new accounts in Great Plains for vendors
- Ad hoc duties as and when required

**What we're looking for**- Experienced Accounts Officer- Experience in a full function Accounts Payable role- High attention to detail
- High computer proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
